Latke Making 101

OK...as promised, here is my latke making experience...so sorry it took me so long to post this!

Heat the oil (medium high)

Grate the potatoes (10) and onions (2), squeeze out excess juice

Cumin, Parsley, Pepper, Salt (1 tsp each)

1 egg

1/4 cup flour

Add egg to spices and mix...


Add flour, egg & spice mixture to grated potatoes & onions

Start frying (squeeze out excess "juice" before placing in pan)

Flip!

Drain!



Latkes!



Serve with either apple sauce or sour cream...Mmm mmm good!  B'Tayavon & Buon Appetito!
